Morris Lift, 98, passed away, on Saturday September 18, 2021.

Morris was the son of the late Kalman and Maita Lift and brother of the late Sim Rosenfeld.

Morris is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years Ruth (Herman) Lift; sons Carl (Lisa) Lift, Alan Lift and Marc Lift; daughter-in-law Varsha Lift of Harrisburg; grandchildren Michael, Priya, Daveed, Elan, Amit, the late Adiv, Micha, Carli and Avi; great-grandchildren Samara, Jai, and Ava; and many nieces and nephews.

Morris was a graduate of Central High School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Certified Public Accountant for over 60 years. He was the accountant for hundreds of clients, including local businesses and professional practices; for decades he volunteered his services as accountant to the Talmudic Yeshiva of Philadelphia.  He was a Mason and a member of the Greatest Generation who actively served in WWII.
