ALEXANDER CIUCCI

Born on July 11th, 1990, Alexander entered the world greeted by his new family, John, Rebecca, and Daniel Ciucci, in Charleston, South Carolina. A few short years later, he welcomed in a younger brother, Gregory, and took on the role of "big bro" immediately.

His early life was filled with the pursuit of education and athletics; two areas in which he excelled. High school brought many accolades, including graduating as Valedictorian. In 2008, he was accepted into his dream school, Columbia University, where he graduated in 4 years with both a BS and MS degree in Financial Engineering. While balancing school and sports, Xander made strong connections by helping his friends and was driven by their success. This is exemplified in his Lion Fund which he co-founded to help future investors learn and navigate the space.

Following graduation, Xander accepted his dream job at Goldman Sachs, the culmination of his hard work and dedication. Soon after, he married his college girlfriend and lived together in NYC, traveled the world together, and loved together for a few years before deciding to live their lives separately. The high-flying job became less appealing to Xander, as he decided to move back to the Colorado mountains that he loved so much. Searching for his next step, he moved home, spending valuable time with his parents. During this time, Xander and his mother had many months of laughter as they became the closest of friends in the final months of his life.

On the morning of May 7th, 2021, Alexander Stephen Ciucci passed away in his sleep. He now looks down on us all with the same love and care that he displayed during his 30 years with us. May he rest in peace.
