ADAM GASSNER

Adam R. Gassner, 51, of Dillsburg passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at his home.

He was born August 2, 1969, in Syracuse, NY, the son of Rudolf and Gertrude V. (Maier) Gassner of Mechanicsburg. Adam was employed as a truck driver for Bunzl Distribution, Manchester. He was a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School and attended Penn State- Harrisburg and HACC. Adam enjoyed tennis, running, and spending quiet time in the outdoors.

He is survived in addition to his parents by his wife, Andrea M. (Whitcomb) Gassner; a son, Griffin Z. Gassner; a step-daughter, Olivia G. Whitcomb; a brother, Thomas P. Gassner (Maria) of Woodbury, NJ; two sisters, Lisa M. Shinar (Andy) of Brentwood, TN, Katy G. Krevsky (Solomon) of Enola; and nine nieces and nephews. A public viewing was held Tuesday, September 29, 2020, in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Private services and entombment held in the Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church to be used for an Alcoholics Anonymous support group, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
