MORRIS (MARTY) LAMONOFF

Marty Lamonoff, 90, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 30, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Benjamin and Rebecca (Rochlis) Lamonoff.

Morris was a retired self-employed printer. He was loved by all who knew him.

He was a member of Chisuk Emuna Congregation, the Chisuk Emuna Brotherhood, as well as a member of the Chevra Kadisha. He was a volunteer at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg and with Jewish Family Services Meals on Wheels, where he was the volunteer of the year recipient.

Morris was the widower of Audrey Deutsch Lamonoff, and he was preceded in death by a son Steven Lamonoff, a brother Solomon Lamonoff, and a sister Adele Maslof.

Surviving are his daughter Debra Chernicoff (Bob) of Harrisburg; his son Samuel Lamonoff (Ellen)of Greenwich, CT; 4 grandchildren, Michael Chernicoff (Cantor Sarah Bolts); Adam Chernicoff; Lauren Petrocelli (Nick); Julie Lamonoff, (Ben Smith); and a great granddaughter, Julia Chernicoff-Bolts.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Chapel of Chisuk Emuna Cemetery. Burial in Chisuk Emuna Cemetery.
