Leon Errol Gordon, 70, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at home.

Born on April 6, 1951, in Harrisburg to the late Joseph and Edith (Stein) Gordon.

He was a graduate of the former William Penn High School, Class of 1969, attended Temple University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Penn State University, Class of 1974, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

Leon was retired from the Commonwealth of PA, where he was employed as a social worker. After retirement he was a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to his parents.

He was an accomplished musician, having played with the El Dantes band as a bass guitarist. He enjoyed music, refurbishing furniture, and fixing electronics.

Surviving is his sister, Sandra L. Levy and her husband, Sherman of Westminster, MD, a nephew, Jason Levy and his wife, Kelly, 2 nieces, Elyse Levy, Beth Turgeon and her husband, George and a great niece, Holly Levy.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the Chisuk Emuna Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
