ANN RUDMAN

Ann H. Rudman, 95, formerly of Steelton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2020.

She was born on July 7, 1924 in Bressler, PA to the late Matija and Barbara Muzar Mavretic. She was retired from the PA Department of Transportation and was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish. Ann was the widow of William E. Rudman, to whom she was married for 54 years.

She is survived by her sister, Fran Wieloch. She was a devoted mother to her son, Richard (Tami) Rudman and seven daughters, Donna (Michael) Jambrosic, Kathryn Rudman, Maryann (Tim) Eckhart, Jeanne Diehl, Margaret (Chuck) Freedman, Frances Rudman, and Christine Rudman; five grandchildren, Dr. Janelle Jambrosic Martin, Megan Eckhart Horner, Kevin Eckhart, Gabriel Freedman, and Elliot Diehl; and two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Eckhart Horner and Wyatt Everett Martin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ballard and her brother, Matthew Mavretic.

Our Mother, through her daily rosary, prayer lists and closeness to God was always a source of solace and comfort to many. With her clear-eyed compassion, she set the tone for purpose and renewal in many lives. All who met her loved her. The family extends their appreciation to the staff at The Woods at Cedar Run and Homeland Hospice for their loving care.

Private Viewing and Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
