Sarah "Sally" Hand passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at the Columbia Cottage of Palmyra after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ronald Hand of Hershey, PA; her son H. Michael and his wife, Joan, of Penn Yan, NY and their children April Hand-Smith, Lauren Ellis, and Philip Hand; her son Lawrence and his wife, Mindy of Severna Park, MD, and their children Marissa Hand and Emma Hand. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Ian and Anna Hand-Smith, her sister, Maxine Bedford of West Palm Beach, FL and her brother, Paul Mamolen of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marshall Mamolen of Jersey Shore, PA and by her sister, Sue Kauffman, of DuBois, PA. Sally was born on Jan. 12, 1929 in Jersey Shore, PA, the daughter of Oscar and Leah Mamolen.

She touched the lives of many people, both in her professional business dealings and in her personal life. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and as a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. Funeral Services were held on Sept. 10, 2019. Interment in Beth Yehuda Cemetery of Lock Haven.
