Sandra P. Rosen, 77, of New York, NY, passed away Saturday, May 9th, after a sudden but brief bout with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 20, 1943, to the late Raoul and Henrietta (Sherman) Poliakin, Sandy was passionate about life and her family. She loved cooking, Broadway shows, mastering French, trying new things, and anything starring Hugh Jackman. She especially loved her job at Heller Realty where she worked for over 30 years. Sandy was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend with a vivacious, infectious laugh and trademark spiky hair. Not everyone had the pleasure of meeting Sandy, but anyone who did is guaranteed to smile recounting the memory.

Surviving are her son, Jimmy Rosen (Betsy) of Harrisburg; daughter, Jennifer Margulis (Dan) of Charlotte, NC; sister, Jill Wood of New York, NY; sister, Nancy Cary of Berwyn, PA; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Ellie , Alexander, and Corey.

Private burial will be held in Wellwood Cemetery, West Babylon, NY.
