CHUCK COHEN

Charles M. "Chuck" Cohen, 90, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Carolyn's House.

 Born on September 9, 1931 in Bronx, NY, Chuck graduated from Bowling Green University with a degree in business. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Chuck enjoyed a lifetime career in sales and his successes resulted from his uncanny ability to engage his customers and charm them with his wit and humor.

He was a member of Beth El Temple, Harrisburg, the Jewish Community Center and the former Blue Ridge Country Club. Chuck was a genuinely kind and compassionate person, always going out of his way to help others when they needed it. He was an avid golfer, and had played baseball and volleyball at the Jewish Community Center. He was a rabid NY Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Knicks fan, and enjoyed sports of any kind.

He is survived by his wife Frances Jampel Cohen, his daughter Lynn Cohen of Harrisburg, his sister-in-law Rosemary Cohen of Florida, and his nephew Vanya Cohen of Florida. He was preceded in death by his son Marc Cohen, his father Milton Cohen, his mother Irene Cohen-Taylor, his stepfather Albert Taylor, and his brother Stuart Cohen.
